SESSION DESCRIPTION

In recent years, the explosion of digital data and the increasing need for effective data processing have driven significant advancements in big data technologies. Simultaneously, the growing demand for Arabic language processing solutions, spurred by the digital transformation in Arabic-speaking regions, has led to remarkable progress in natural language processing (NLP) techniques tailored for the Arabic language.

These sessions aim to gather researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss and present the latest advancements, challenges, and applications in the intersection of Arabic language processing and big data analytics.

RECOMMENDED TOPICS

Topics to be discussed in this special session include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Natural Language Processing (NLP) for Arabic
  • Arabic text mining and information retrieval
  • Arabic speech recognition and synthesis
  • Machine translation and transliteration for Arabic
  • Sentiment analysis and opinion mining in Arabic
  • Arabic handwriting recognition and OCR
  • Data storage and management for large-scale Arabic datasets
  • Machine learning and artificial intelligence for big data
  • Big data applications in various domains (e.g., healthcare, finance, social media)
  • Leveraging big data for enhancing Arabic NLP models
  • Large-scale Arabic corpus creation and annotation
  • Multimodal big data analytics for Arabic content
  • Applications of big data in Arabic social media analysis
  • Case studies and real-world applications combining Arabic NLP and big data

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit papers for this special theme session on Exploring Innovations and Advancements in Arabic Language Processing and Big Data Analytics on or before September 10th, 2024 (Extended Deadline).

All submissions must be original and may not be under review by another publication.

 

All papers should be submitted

electronically through the easychair submission system as mentioned below:

 

 

The paper prior to submission should be checked for plagiarism from licensed plagiarism softwares like Turnitin/iAuthenticate etc. The similarity content should not exceed 20%.

All submitted papers will be reviewed on a double-blind, peer review basis.
